Shaping the future with bioeconomy

Research and development are the basis for the desired structural change toward a bioeconomy. In 2012, the Bioeconomy Strategy Group in Baden-Württemberg took on the task of developing a forward-looking research strategy for the bioeconomy based on scientific findings. This has been implemented since 2013 with the Bioeconomy Research Program Baden-Württemberg.

In this tradition, the Bioeconomy Office and the Bioeconomy Science Hub are dedicated to networking scientists and areas of bioeconomy at the University of Hohenheim with each other and with other national and international partners, such as the European Bioeconomy University (EBU).
