The Bioeconomy Office specializes in the systematic analysis and classification of strategic issues in the context of a sustainable and circular bioeconomy.

In doing so, knowledge building blocks from existing research results are brought into new contexts. In several projects, the office is responsible for setting the course for the future, which in turn can give rise to new fields of research.

The office's interdisciplinary team deals with the bioeconomy at various levels, from regional value creation to EU policy-making.
