The University of Hohenheim at the State Garden Show

“Everyday Topics That Involve a Lot of Research” at the Ellwangen State Garden Show

A store shelf groans under the weight of groceries; futuristic honeycomb structures display food from a 3D printer and Maultaschen made from brewer’s yeast; on pedestals stand models of orchard meadows and biogas plants; and in between, an office workstation. On clearly laid-out information panels, every object in the compact exhibition by the University of Hohenheim at the Ellwangen State Garden Show tells a story. And they all have to do with research. The exhibition runs from May 20 to 31, 2026. It opened on the first day at 11 a.m. with a press tour led by University Rector Prof. Dr. Christoph Schneider and the deans of the University of Hohenheim. (Click here for the full press release.)

Come by and get an overview of cutting-edge research and what the bioeconomy is already capable of achieving today.
